Birthday Dinner with the fam!
Celebrated my birthday with my family today! My parents, sister and brother in law.
I made reservations at Catch 19, in Red Bank. I haven’t been here since pre COVID! It’s still amazing! A must try if you are a seafood lover.
The food was delicious, presentation on point, great drinks and wait staff too!
If you’re an art fan, the artwork is amazing!!! A lot of pieces by Bill Mack.

Band night
Tonight I went out with a couple of really good friends, Red Rock Tap n Grill, located in Red Bank NJ.
Local band was playing, Daddy Pop. They were pretty good, played in the outdoor section.
Venue was nice, a little chilly that night but it had a rooftop that overlooked the Navesink River.
Girls ordered beef tip tacos and enjoyed them!

Dinner with a friend
So as my birthday is nearing, a good friend of mine reaches out and wants to set a dinner date. Perfect! I love going out to dinner. I love food and I haven’t seen her since her birthday so we were overdue.
We went to a restaurant called 618. It’s in Freehold. Absolutely amazing. Everything was the food, the service, the vibe. Highly recommend this restaurant.
We shared an amazing appetizer, shrimp saganaki delicious served with crusty bread. We both ordered grilled bronzino cooked to perfection and yes we had dessert!
I always enjoy her company. She’s so real. We had a great time catching up. Reminiscing making new plans!

Girls Trip!
Arizona here we come!
So glad I got to see Scottsdale, and Sedona (one off the bucket list!)
Sedona, breathtaking views, dining and a four mile hike in the rain where we bonded even more! Red rock is spiritual, peaceful, and serene. Our hike was Devil’s Bridge, a must try!
Scottsdale, well any foodie will love!!! Great restaurants, one better than the other! Plenty of shopping, fashion square, Kirkland’s outdoor shopping and Old Town.
Old Town is great! Shopping, dining, art galleries.
First of many memories to come!

Hurt
I’m doing good, or so I think healing, keeping busy, working on my self, body mind and spirit.
Until I see him, it all Falls apart.
Why is it so hard to be in the same space when I feel and think I’m doing so good?? I feel sadness, and emotional pain. Mixed emotions honestly.
I know it’s over and I know it can’t go back, even though I enjoyed seeing you it’s just so hard to see you, be near you, catching you interact with her.
It doesn’t matter how much pain someone causes you , when you love someone, you can’t stop loving them.

Memories From Scratch…the series
Started watching this series From Scratch, liked it from the start. Makes me want to go to Italy, soon.
There’s a scene where Lino takes Amy on a tour of Florence, on a Vespa….so romantic..
It triggered me with memories of him and I, when we rented one and rode around Miami.
Taking in the sights, shopping, my arms around his waist. It brought me to tears, and only because such a beautiful memory and time is all that it is now.
I’ll always cherish that, and all our memories. I’m grateful I have them, at least.

A lot of firsts today!
Took my first Uber ride Solo to the airport…. went well. Surprised at how smooth travel can actually be, when you travel alone.
Flying Solo too, feels like I’ve been doing this my whole life, when it’s actually first time! Wheels up!
