About last night
Yesterday was the first day the weather was perfect for a beach day! Off to Asbury Park Beach we went! Lots were charging $30 ridiculous since the season didn’t even start yet! We found a spot, $2/he perfect stayed for three. Amazing time with one of my beautiful friends.
Home, blowout, shower (yes in that order too lol!) Met up with her again, and drove to Red Bank for dinner at Teak, with one of her friends.
Beautiful conversations about life experiences. Love these girls and spending time with them.
Drinks were good, octopus app is a must! Had a couple sushi rolls which were great too. Dinner was Kani salad very refreshing and the Pad Thai Noodles….delicious! Nice vibe and great atmosphere.
Before finishing dinner, ran into a couple friends at the bar so we told them to join us upstairs, for the after party.
Good time, laughed, drank, shots included, and they danced the night away. Now this was my first time out in this kind of bar/club environment in a really long time! I had fun, and it was very nostalgic, guys scoping out the girls and vise versa.
Fast forward to the day after I woke up late, no hangover thankfully! Feet are killing me, a little dehydrated, and all I can think of is….Is this going to be my new way of life? Hmmm

Flowers & Gardening
Today I planted all the flowers in the pots, love the way it looks plus I love the Zen it brings me. After I finished the flowers, I started on the vegetables and herbs. Nothing like farm fresh in Jersey! Happy Friday!

Great morning! Even with the clouds!
Met up with my sister in law for brunch and she surprised me with my niece! Heart is full 💗.
Great restaurant! Stax in Marlboro NJ. Loved the AVO toast and crepes are banging too!
Shopping after for a great morning! Family
Now for some alone time and a few stops to pickup my birthday freebies!

Life as it Happens

She never wanted to leave him, she loved him from day one, she knew he didn’t feel the same anymore so she made the decision to make the first move.
My heart ached, I cried and wished he was willing to try, just try, even if only for a little while. See if the love was stronger than the pain, see if after all those years and memories and all the hardships they endured that maybe just maybe it could work, let’s face it, life is hard, marriage is hard, everything is hard and if it’s going to do well then you have to work hard for it! Otherwise you will lose it. I tried really hard, Accepted things, changed things- about our life’ myself, but it was only me working for it, after a while no matter how hard the pain, how long the love, you realize that it’s not fair, you aren’t happy, and unless your both trying to work for it, it’s not going to work.

Today we are going to an open house for me.
It’s bitter because it’s a step in leaving, ending us.
It’s sweet because it’s a step in life, a journey that’s exciting, filled with new paths.

What an amazing day with the girls!!! Train into Wall Street, what a beautiful station! Freedom Tower 🙏
Ferry to Governor’s iIsand, what a beautiful place! Checked into the QC, the only location in the US. Let Spa day begin!
Saunas, steam rooms, foot baths, Vichy showers (my favorite!) Amazing facility, with the best views of the Manhattan skyline! Outdoor pools too! Just bring your bathing suit, everything else is provided!
Taxi to the Monarch Rooftop…. great food, service and you can almost touch the Empire State Building!
Last stop…. Pergola, a Mediterranean menu with hookahs and music! Delicious food!
One of the best days spent with the most awesome women!!! So glad this day was planned! Until next time NY!

Asbury Park
Delicious dinner tonight with my bestie at the Iron Whale…. Lobster egg rolls, Crab Cake, Walnut apple salad, and of course oysters on the half shell! Cappuccino was mediocre but would definitely go back for more seafood and drinks!

Sunday Funday
What a perfect beautiful Sunday! Sun shining, time spent with family.
Time, you don’t really realize how precious it is, until you sit with yourself and the ones you care about and enjoy doing things that are unplanned, just in the moment.
I haven’t threw a frisbee in years, yet today we took it out and started playing, not a care in the world, just playing…I haven’t lost my touch either!
A great day, without plans, just spontaneous fun…so grateful for it! Haven’t truly had a day like today in years. I felt happy.
