Last Saturday Night
Another night out with the girls! These girls are in their 40s. Great night!
Every girl needs friends in different age groups, all can teach you something and vice versa. I’m in my early 50s. I have friends my age, younger and older. Love these ladies! Have the best time with all of them!
Getting back to Saturday night! OMG loved Centrada in Red Bank. Just went for drinks, but the vibe was amazing!!!
Latin inspired drinks, music, decor, DJ too! They also had beautiful women dancing in costume every once in a while, tastefully done. Almost made me feel like I was in Miami!
Crowd was mixed ages. People were friendly, felt like most women wanted to talk , make a new friend. A lot of couples, and singles, great place to meet people!
My friends Rock! Love these ladies, have the best time with them, always laughing. And always looking out for one another. I can’t wait for our next escaped!

Donovan’s Reef
Donovan’s Reef in Sea Bright, had a perfect day yesterday with girls that are like my sisters.
Got there early around 10 am, parked in the lot, and the weather was perfect! So was the water, a little cold but felt so good!
Lunch was blackened salmon, yum one of my favorites there. Drinks, Sun, fun who can ask for anything more???
Left the beach at 4pm, truly a beautiful beach day!

Weekend dining
Morning! Met up with a few friends this past weekend and went out to dinner at Belmontes, Italian, in Asbury Park.
I loved what I ordered, clams over linguine in a garlic white wine sauce…..yum! And I ordered a take out too, lol. Rigatoni Romano, similar to Carbonara, but with a pink sauce instead of Alfredo.
Sat outside, nice vibe, but most importantly, great company. Dinner with one of my closest friends and a friend of hers who I’ve met before.
Ended the night at Lola’s for an Americano and Espresso, before heading home.

It’s been a while
Hi all! It’s been a while since I posted, so much going on with family and work!
Last night I went out to dinner with family and friends and let me tell you it was amazing!
Char Kol
Restaurant in freehold Nj. They smoke everything! We had the pork belly, oysters, pasta flight and the chicory salad for apps all were good!
Dinner was pork chop, salmon, scallops, and filet mignon…. nothing was left cooked to perfection!
Definitely a must try, especially for a special occasion, you will not be disappointed! Cooked to perfection, great service, and the ambiance and vibe were on point!

Greek Festival!
St. Kimisis Greek Festival all weekend, took my parents yesterday. Finally after two years of covid, the festival is back!
Atmosphere was great, band, food, rides, games, dessert and Frappe of course!
Lamb shank served with lemon potatoes, and souvlaki platter! Yummmm! Dessert was loukoumades and kataifi, and Frappe! Opa!
Food was cooked perfectly! Bravo to all for all the hard work!

Mom’s Greek Birthday Dinner
Ambeli Greek Taverna in Cranford. Mom’s choice. It was a great time with my favorite group of people, my family.
We shared a few apps, horiatiki salad (my favorite) grilled Octopus, ambeli chips, which were eggplant and zucchini sliced really thin, and fried (yum!) And of course grilled halloumi which I was against ordering originally (only because we have halloumi all the time lol) but it was delicious too, served with chopped tomatoes and red onion and an olive oil drizzle.
Dinner, well that was great too! Lamb chops, souvlaki, seafood orzo, chicken w/bechamel and mussels in a red sauce.
Onto dessert, galatopoureko, yogurt with nuts and honey…. both were good! The Crew even sang Happy Birthday!

Seafood Boil
That’s where we ate last night….you pick your seafood, I chose snow crab legs then your spice, mine was garlic, and then how much spice I went with medium.
Served ina clear double layer plastic bag. They gave us gloves, bibs, napkins, and crab claws plus a bucket for all the shells. I loved it!
They have all kinds of stuff on the menu, 3 different crabs, lobster, mussels, clams, shrimp, even combo platters. If you choose a side which I did, it was corn on the cob, it’s served in the same bag.
Spice choices are Cajun, garlic, lemon pepper and Boom (a combo of all 3). Them you choose your spice level, light, medium, spicy, or burn your head!
Highly recommend, seafood was fresh, and the restaurant was clean. North Brunswick Location

Me Time
Off From work today, so I decided to do me.
Had a deep tissue massage love my masseuse Angela from Massage Envy.
Then I had the best microdermabrasion facial ever! Arnetta is amazing. I said it was the best one I ever got because I’ve gotten many through the years and this was the first time that I had done that included the neck! Amazing!
Feel so relaxed, and my skin is glowing and soft too! Thanks ladies!

Back to Work
Yesterday I had a long work day, 14 hours. I am grateful those days are not often! I am also double grateful that I had the previous four days off! Truly blessed.
